WOW!! Did y'all ever rack up the gold in this challenge! LOL! What awesome creations this week! Every single one of you deserve a gold medal! :D It is always so very hard to choose winners when you have so much talent involved! Glad we all put our heads together for the winners, lol! Ok here are the winners for my challenge this week:

This card of Carol's is so very classic and elegant with the gold embossing on the white! The flower in all of its layers is so beautiful, I can almost smell it! Well done Carol!

WOWZA! This card of Leslie's is so eye catching! She used the DTP (direct to paper) technique with some stamp pads and then gold embossing on top of that...gonna have to try this myself! Well done Leslie!

And this card of Judy Woodland's...she used bleach to stamp with and got this awesome creation out of it! And Black and Gold combo is a win/win in my book!! Well Done Judy!!

And now this one of Pam Giudici's...So very soft in its tones and with just the hints of gold makes this an all around perfect combination!! Well done Pam!!

Thanks so much to each and everyone of you for playing along this past week! YOU are what makes this fun! Be sure to watch our Pinterest Board too, you might just be pinned! See y'all here tomorrow for a brand spanking new challenge!!

Hey Y'all! Cat here with a challenge for you this week! Are you ready? I'm sure y'all are! :D

Have you been watching the Olympics lately? I have and I think it sooo neat how so many countries can come together, get along, and compete for the gold/silver/bronze medals! So with the Olympics in the air around here, I have come up with this challenge....Go For The Gold! (or Silver, Bronze and even Copper!) You choose which color of metal you want to use on your card! Extra brownie points if you 'Go For The Gold!'!! Here is my card for this challenge, I used this for the Gina K Designs'blog hop today also...Here it is:

I did ALOT of gold embossing on this card! AND used gold thread and gold cardstock! I did indeed 'Go for the Gold!' The sentiment made me think of Mardi Gras, so I used the official colors of Mardi Gras for my card, puple, green, and gold. I did fussy cutting on the instruments (although, I have a Silhouette that I'm hoping I can get to do that for me in the future! LOL Yay!) I used the new stamp set bye Rupa Shedve called, Just A Note.

Ok, now all the fine print/rules! Don't forget to take a peek at them!  ;)

Oh, what flowery goodness!  You all filled the page with some seriously beautiful cards!!  :-)

Here are this week's winners (although, I think you all were amazing!!)...

When I first saw Barbara Campbell's card, I was immediately transported to a much warmer place!  The blue and white gingham really set off the lovely apples and flowers!

Just look at all this vintage floral goodness from Tracey M!  So many gorgeous details and wonderful texture!  Wow!

This beauty from Tricia T is so lovely!  I adore the soft background and those large, beautiful flowers!

This flower (created by Judy Woodland) is colored so beautifully it looks like I can reach out and touch it!  So lovely!

Thank you so much for playing along with our challenge!  Watch our Pinterest board to be updated...you never know, it might be your card that gets pinned there!  :-)

Hugs,
Laurie

Ready for another Mod Squad Challenge?  Laurie here, and I'm excited to bring you this week's challenge!

As I was thinking about the challenge, I was staring outside my dining room window.  What I saw was solid snow and ice.  And wind.  And drifts.  I truly am grateful for the moisture, but it starts to get hard this time of year when it's too cold and miserable to go outside.  A little cabin fever, if you will.  I then started to imagine what the hills and fields would look like covered in wild flowers (as they are every late Spring).  The challenge that I came up with was just a natural progression of this line of thought!

My challenge to you is an easy one!  Create a card or other project that features a flower (or flowers)!  Super easy!

Here's what I came up with...

Since I love flowers so much, I have a lot of flower stamps!  The hardest part of this for me, was choosing which flower to use!  :-)

I ended up choosing a flower from the Bold Blooms set.  The sentiment is from the Stamper's Favorites set (both sets are from Gina K Designs).

  • Please create a new card/project for each challenge.
  • You may use any vendors/products.
  • The host/hostess will choose 3 winners.
  • All 3 cards will be pinned to our Mod Squad Challenge Blog Pinterest Board (follow the link on the right column) and when there is a craft prize the host/hostess will choose one from among those 3 winning cards. The winners will be announced in a separate post that will go up on Tuesdays before the next challenge post goes up. Any winners of craft prizes have 1 week to respond to claim the prize. Prizes that are unclaimed will be offered again on another challenge.
  • Our challenges may be combined with up to 4 other challenges, so to be eligible for any prizes and Pinning you can have a total of 5 challenges you've entered. We rely on the honor system so please be honest.
  • The Mod Squad challenges are open until the following Tuesday morning Central Time so we have time to choose and post winners.
  • Winners will be chosen from among the entries submitted in time and the Winner post will go up sometime Tuesday.
  • Please link up your challenge entry using the linky at the end of the post and make sure you include the link to this challenge somewhere in your card description.

I can't wait to see all of your flower filled creations!!

It's time for another Mod Squad Challenge!!!!  And with the time of year.....I just bet you can guess what the challenge may be!!!!   ;)   But wait....it's TWOFER challenge....so there are 2 parts to it!!!  Don't panic...I promise they are both simple.....and fun!!!

From Millan.Net From Millan.Net

Ok....now guess!!!  LOL  Right.....because Valentine's Day is right around the corner this week's challenge is to use at least one HEART and some GLITTER on your card or project!!  Any type of heart.....an image or an embellishment, etc.  And some glitter!!  After all love is SPARKLY!!!  Any type of glitter....stickles, loose glitter, glitter pen, etc.  I know you all can be super creative with this!!!

Here's mine....

For this card I used the Gina K. Designs stamp set Sent With Love.  I love that little bench!!  I stamped and colored the image and then stamped the sentiment and then did one of my favorite techniques...glittering up the entire panel!  It's super simple to do!  Just press your Versamark pad all over the stamped/colored panel, then sprinkle with an embossing powder glue product...I used Judikins Sticky Stuff.  Tamp off the excess and then heat with heat gun just until shiny.  Then cover in a clear, iridescent  glitter and tamp off the excess.  Voila!!!  That's all there is to it!!!  I used one of my favorite cardstock combinations, Gina K Pure Luxury Cherry Red and Innocent Pink!!  And a cute little bow with Gina K Black Onyx gingham ribbon and a touch of pearls.....I also embossed the white background and an inside panel.  It's already been sent off to a friend!  ;)

Now....since it's the first week of the month....you all know what THAT means, right???!!!!  Yeppers!!!  It's time for the $50 Gina K Designs Gift Certificate Prize!!!!  That's the prize for this week's challenge!!!  Now here are the challenge rules and details.....and then I hope you go get crafty and have fun creating with your HEARTS!!!!  (ok those who know me just KNEW a cheesy pun was coming up sometime! LOL).
