Marvelous Marbling!

Hi everyone! Leslie Turner here and I'm super excited to be your hostess of this week's Mod Squad challenge! A huge thanks to Joyce for asking me to play again! ;)

My theme for you this week is "Marvelous Marbling" - let's see some pretty backgrounds (or images) with marbling! The sky is the limit... there are so many ways to achieve this look! I learned the technique from a tutorial over at Splitcoast Stampers.

We're being sponsored this week by Melanie Muenchinger, illustrator for Gina K Designs! Be sure to check out Melanie's blog, Hands, Head and HeartYou are welcome to use any vendor's image to qualify for the prize, but you get a bonus entry if you use one of Melanie's stamp sets!

Melanie's Stamp Sets

The prize this week is Basket Additions 3

Here's a VIDEO showing a basket that can be used. She has other sets with different elements.

I used Melanie's Wild at Heart stamp set, a stamp positioner (Joyce shows some DIY ones HERE) and four colors of ink (yellow, orange, red and brown - in that order) to create the marbled background on my friendship card. Looking at these colors, can you tell I have a little case of fall fever?! :)

For more details and a couple more photos, please see my blog post at Love To Scrap! I hope you'll join us this week - I'd love to see what you create!
